We are a parish school that is subsidized by St. Benedict Parish. St. Benedict School does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national and ethnic origin, age (in accordance with the law), and physical or learning disability (if, with reasonable effort on the part of the school, the disabled person could be accommodated). Our primary concern in the admission procedure is that St. Benedict School is able to meet the needs of the currently enrolled students. Students with Individualized Education Plans designed for Special Education support are generally not accepted.
Documents: update April 2010
Admission Procedures
Our 3 year old Pre-K program is 2 days a week (Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur) from 8:30am to 11:30 am. Our 4 year old Pre-K program is 5 days with a choice of full time or part time. This is a Catholic Pre-K program, but children do not have to be Catholic to attend. We will follow the Diocesan-approved curriculum for the Pre-K and will include developmentally appropriate activities that will allow the children to explore, to engage in hands on activities and to learn through play. The curriculum will also include time for physical education, music, art, library and computers beginning in the second semester.
Registration Fee
There is a $125.00 non-refundable family registration fee which covers all students in the same family who register by June 15th. After June 15th, the registration fee is $175.
