Welcome to our Kindergarten Readiness Program For 4 & 5 year olds
Our Kindergarten Readiness program is designed to help your child confidently transition into kindergarten. Whether your child is 4 or a 5 year-old with a Fall birthday and could benefit from some extra developmental time, we provide differentiated, small-group instruction tailored to their needs. Our curriculum integrates arts, social studies, math, language development, and religion, blending thematic units with plenty of play-based learning.
In our Kindergarten Readiness program, your child will experience:
- Full-time Instructional Aides in each classroom
- Daily Specials (Art, PE, Music, Library, and Computer Class)
- Field Trips
- Short Rest Time
- Lunch in the Classroom
- Differentiated Instruction
- Small Group, Center-Based Learning
- Mastering the Alphabet, Recognition and Letter Sounds
- Handwriting through the Learning Without Tears program
- Using Math Manipulatives, Identifying Numbers and Counting to 20
- Strengthening Gross and Fine Motor Skills
- Gaining Independence
- Enhancing Book Awareness by Asking Questions and Retelling of Stories
- Free and Guided Play
Our school day runs from 7:30-2:20 in PK. Early drop-off is available from 7:15-7:30 at no charge. We have an afterschool program run by Just for Kids that is available daily until 5:30.
